Ceiling Dust

What WorkCover and others can do about it

Presented to NSW WorkCover’s Demolition and Asbestos Consultative Committee, 3rd March 2005

    By Elizabeth O’Brien

Burglar alarm installed adjacent to pipes lagged with friable asbestos. Installers did not wear any safety equipment when working in roof. As a result of their work, asbestos clumps now lay all over ceiling. Who’ll remember this when asbestos, etc, is killing them?
