QUESTION: What levels of lead are environmentally acceptable? 29 Sep 2008 WA, Australia Hi, I live in Perth WA and I was wondering what levels of lead are environmentally acceptable (or safe)? Thankyou for your time. |

ANSWER: 30 Mar 2009 Dear Jacinta Sorry for the delay, we just did not have enough staff to answer the emails. Have you found the answer to your question yet? if you haven't could you be a little bit more specific because there are different acceptable levels to different components of the environment like air, water, soil, dust etc. There are also different acceptable levels for both indoor and outdoor environments. I have searched in our library and have found a document which I have attached. It is a little bit out of date but it is the only one we have that comprises all acceptable lead levels in the different components of the environment. Unfortunately this was not updated.
