ANSWER: 14 Dec 2005 Dear Gao, The LEAD Group is a community organisation which runs an information service about how to prevent lead poisoning and protect the environment from lead. We are not agents nor any company for any product - especially we are not agents for leaded products. We help to bring awareness among the people to phase out lead usage who are exposed to it knowingly or unknowingly and try to ban it totally, using other substitutes for the same. We even encourage you to reformulate your PVC so as NOT to use these harmful metals like tribasic lead sulphate, dibasic lead phosphite, lead stearate of lead oxide. This is the advice given in the attachment (which is also web-published at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LeadWorkers/files/Lead%20Code%20Paper%20by%20Winder%20%26%20Long.doc) and if you follow the other advice given in the Lead Code paper by Winder & Long, you will be able to prevent further lead poisoning of your workers. You are very welcome to join our LeadWorkers egroup to discuss these important issues - please go to www.lead.org.au/egroups.html to join the egroup. Yours Sincerely Elizabeth O'Brien |
