Launch of the world’s first Rotary Lead Poisoning Awareness Project

"Another important initiative was also launched today."

"Rotary clubs from Sydney's Inner West are distributing 7,000 free Lead Poisoning Awareness show bags to pre-schoolers in an attempt to alert their families to the dangers of lead.

"I urge all parents to use this week (Lead Poisoning Awareness Week) to learn more about the dangers of lead and secure the best possible future for their children," said Dr. Andrew Refshauge.
