The LEAD Group makes an urgent appeal to our web readers for donations to raise funds for actions to follow-up on the 6th Global Partnership Meeting of the Partnership for Clean Fuels and Vehicles (PCFV) held in Beijing, China 10-11 April 2008.

The Global Lead Advice and Support Service (GLASS) is operating on a Department of Environment and Water Resources (DEW) Grant but this expires as of 30 June 2008. We are currently applying for more funding from the United Nations so we can employ more than one staff member and be more proactive in informing the world about how to manage lead. It will take up to 7 months to process our application and complete the process, if our request is granted. We need your support in spreading the word about lead so please ask any relevant webmaster to create a link from their site to ours.
