ANSWER: 07 Sep 2005 Hi Andrew, the only accredited course for industrial paint applications (Painting Contractors Certification Program, Class 5 Hazardous Paints ( including lead paint ) is run by CTI Consultants on 9736 3911 and they also run accredited Lead Paint Management Courses re: commercial and residential paint. The only other accredited course in NSW in the latter category is from Master Painters Australia on 97462477. Thirdly there is an accredited correspondence course for experienced painters on this topic - see http://qld.mpa.org.au/index.php/content/85/ - Graduates of this course receive a statement of attainment as having completed the Nationally Accredited module BCGPD3011B Treat Lead Paint Hazards and have their names entered onto the register of Lead Certified Painting Contractors.
