Where can I have paint tested and dust tested also? 18 Aug 2005, New South Wales Australia We have recently started renovating a house built in the 1950's, and we have a 2 year old daughter. The paint is chipping/peeling everywhere! Where can I have this paint tested and the dust tested also? |

ANSWER: 18 Aug 2005 Dear Melanie, thanks for your phone call as well as your email. Our DIY Basic Home Lead Assessment Kit to test a dust wipe sample and a soil sample (or two dust wipe samples) is on its way to you as discussed, along with the receipt for $80 including GST. If your local hardware store or trade paint centre say they don't know where to purchase the Lead Check spot test kits to test the paint then you can let them know that the importer is Air Met in Melbourne on Freecall 1800 000 744.
