ANSWER: 26 Mar 2005 Dear Liz, thanks for letting us know about the Osumex Heavy Metal Test Kits and it was very interesting to see information about the DMSA special heavy metals oral chelator purchasable only with the Heavy Metal Test Kit. Can you please let me know how one interprets say the Heavy Metals Test Kit - General. I assume the different metals would turn the solution a different colour but what happens if you get a mixture of colours (as you would expect) - how long does it take for a practitioner to get used to interpreting the array of results that must arise. Wouldn't quantitative (laboratory) results be required to confirm any Heavy Metal Test kit result prior to carrying out expensive treatment or decontamination of the environment?
