Hi, I'm Sarah Fairhall from James Cook University in Townsville. I'm studying medicine and in the middle of the year i sent you an assignment that you wanted to look at as I used your site for some of the information. I said then that I would email you the results of the assignment and sorry for the delay but I only just got them. I received 9 out of 10 and I was stoked. Thanks again Sarah |

ANSWER: 10 Dec 2004 Dear Sarah, Congratulations on your well-deserved mark. Sorry to take so long to reply but at the time your email arrived I was in India at the Partnership for Cleaner Fuels & Vehicles (PCFV) Third Global Meeting discussing the fact that 67 countries still sell leaded petrol and the Partnership agreed to my proposal that all remaining 67 countries should phase out leaded petrol by 2005. Now the hard work begins of ensuring that it happens. I don't suppose you have any connections to Medicin Sans Frontieres or other organisations who might know environmental or community health contacts in any of these countries (see attached)? Cheers.
