QUESTION: Lead lighting in side board, 11 Aug
2004, New South Wales Australia
We are living with in-laws at the moment and they have a side board that has stained glass panel with what appears to be lead surroundings or frame, does this pose a threat to my daughter if she touches it? |

ANSWER: 11 Aug 2004
Dear Sir, merely touching the lead calmes in the side board panel poses a very minor risk to your daughter, however if she were to lick the lead or put her fingers in her mouth the risk would increase. If she is prone to these behaviours and if your stay is temporary then a good temporary solution is to cover the lead with clear contact.
Yours Sincerely |
