QUESTION:
Obtaining copies of info on lead paint management.
26 May 2004, Queensland Australia Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for your prompt reply and honesty. The information and the links that you have supplied are already in my lead folder complete with all print outs. (These should be available in all paint shops) As I told you I have searched for a long time for any thing on the subject and that is why it is so frustrating. I will obtain a copy of the standards and provide Standards Australia contact details in a printable format (with the links of the other information enclosed) and spread it around to a few paint shops and misc people. This information is (after talking to the paint shop managers about this) very sought after and will be welcomed with open arms. I will promise you every thing you send to my address will be distributed to all the right people. Therefore making it available freely on the net in my main objection. I will in due time add a link to your site and have a lead section with the required information downloadable on www.paintingcontractor.info when time permits. It has been a privilege to correspond with you on this matter, and I look forward to some mail, Regards Gregory |

ANSWER: 26 May 2004 Dear Gregory, We have posted a whole box of "Lead Alert: Step Guide to Painting your Home" and "Lead Safe - A Renovator's Guide to the Dangers of Lead" (though the Lead Safe documents are practically out-of-print now) to you. I'm so glad you're onto the task. Yours Sincerely Elizabeth O'Brien |
