QUESTION:
Lead handout for playgroup parents, 18 Dec 2004,
Queensland Australia
My name is Maree Okabe and I work for a company that actively markets 100% toxic and chemical free household goods to people who are concerned about the chemicals in their home poisoning not only themselves but their pets and children. We are holding any information chat about this with a number of playgroup mothers. Do you have any pamphlets suitable for information regarding lead for mothers of children under 5. We would also like to know if anyone you may know or anyone who works on the Lead Awareness program would be interested in finding out more about our 100% safe, economical and environmentally responsible products. - OBLIGATION FREE. I await your reply. Maree Okabe Phone (07) 55 028 134 email: Kimbriki6[at]aol.com |

ANSWER: 18 Jan 2005 Dear Maree, Sorry about the delay in responding but our entirely volunteer staff have had a well-earned holiday. I suggest that the attached "7 point plan for the MANAGEMENT OF LEAD by Australian parents and carers" is the best handout for playgroup parents and of course you are welcome to photocopy them as we freely give copyright permission to anyone who is going to spread the word to prevent lead poisoning (this goes for any of the factsheets or articles on our website too). Yes I would be interested to learn more about your products, especially if any of them can be used to abate lead contamination or to replace a leaded product. Thanks for emailing. Yours Sincerely Elizabeth O'Brien, |
