QUESTION: Effect of lead on
the brain, up to 4 yrs of age,
08 Nov 2003, England United Kingdom I need information on the total effects of being exposed to levels of lead during pregnancy and through to the age of 4years. Mainly I need to know what effect it would have on the brain. Any help would be gratefully received thank you |

| ANSWER: 08 Nov 2003 Dear Marie, Though your question seems simple, whole books and literally thousands of research papers have been written on the subject. It would be easier for me to answer it if you were more specific. Do you want to know for an assignment, for a legal case, because you were exposed to lead up to the age of 4 or your child was or because you or someone you know is suffering specific health effects and you want to figure out if they could have been caused by lead? Or for some other reason?
