QUESTION: How soon after a blood lead level of 10 µg/dL should we re-test our baby,
07 Feb 2003, Massachusetts USA My 12 month old baby's blood was just tested for lead and the result was a 10. My doctor assures me that this is a low number but what do we do now? Once we have figured out where the lead is and we remove it, how soon after do we get him tested again? Also, should I be looking for signs and symptoms at this point in time? Thank you, Betsy |
