LEAD Action News vol 4 no 4 Spring 1996
Incorporating Lead Aware Times ( ISSN 1440-4966) and Lead Advisory Service News ( ISSN 1440-0561)
The journal of The LEAD (Lead Education and Abatement Design) Group Inc.
by Adrian Hill
This LEAD Action News is something of an exposť (well if Womens Weekly can do it, so can we) in that it exposes 5 relatively new sources of lead poisoning. The Miniblinds story is updated and exposes PVC as being a neer do well; theres a scandalous story about some toy soldiers containing over 90% lead; a shocking story about leaded paint on playground equipment in the US; a horror story of a woman finding lead in a porcelain bathtub after having spent $15,000 on lead abatement services; and finally a beastly story about lead poisoning and pets.
As a cat-lover I will be desperately looking for ways to disprove that one.
Theres also all the hot gossip about how the launch of our new project went, with none other than The Hon. Pam Allan, M.P., in attendance.
We tried to outdo Womens Weekly and get you some recipe ideas, but none involve lead. Bon appetit.
