The predominance of calls in the environmental category would make increased funding of the Lead Advisory Service Australia, by environment agencies, thoroughly justified. It should also be noted however that since a significant number of the calls relate to people exposed to lead at work (ie lead workers 15.6%, renovation 21.2%), that the continued denial of any responsibility for funding the service by OH&S agencies is unjustified.
